Point Waterfront is the gem of Durban with so much to offer such as uShaka Marine World where you can enjoy a day with family or some alone time spent strolling through the mall. You could eat out at a number of restaurants, snorkel with sea creatures, and enjoy the wet and wild theme park or Africa's largest Aquarium. Another attraction to Point Waterfront is the promenade that is also known as the "golden mile" the "prom" stretches from Point Waterfront to Blue Lagoon making it approximately 7.5km in length. Point Waterfront is also known for its safety and this is due to Durban Point Waterfront Management Association having CCTV monitoring as well as a private security company that monitors the area. Another benefit of the Point waterfront that it's the home to the recently build Durban Passenger Cruise Terminal.
